Boilers 1 and 2 were originally Combustion Engineering (CE) wall fired pulverized coal boilers and boiler 10 was originally a CE stoker boiler. Boiler 1 and 2 existing burners were arranged in a 2x2 configuration while the boiler 10 was fired by coal feeders and four (4) bark chute openings evenly spaced above the feeders.
